Advice and answers from the CareMonkey Team

The administrator of the organisation can make it as a requirement to upload an action plan for a certain medical condition, usually asthma and anaphylaxis. That way, the staff members or carers would know what to do in an emergency.

An example of an Asthma Action Plan template which is suitable for schools can be found here. This requires an approval and a signature by Profile Owners' (i.e., parents, adult club members, adult participants, employees, etc.) doctor.

Some people who are waiting on getting the asthma action plan approved and/or created by their doctor may upload the National Asthma Council First Aid Poster which can be found from this page. However, we are not advising this as a suitable long term solution (we don't offer medical advice), and we'll leave that for you and/or your child's doctor to determine.

NOTE: The sample action plans above are for Australian customers only. If your organisation is not in Australia, please reach out to them if there's any suggested template that you can upload which is specific to your country.

Here's an article that will guide you in adding an Asthma Action Plan.
